How to Apply for Admission
The Directorate of Education (DoE) has issued clear guidelines to ensure a transparent and fair admission process. Parents can collect application forms from the school principal during school hours or from the security guard at the school gate.
For any queries, parents are encouraged to contact the school principal directly. The DoE has assured that the entire process will be conducted fairly, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants.
Key Admission Dates
Parents should keep track of these important dates:
- March 15: Last date to submit application forms.
- March 18: Schools will display a list of applications with errors on notice boards.
- March 18-19: Parents can visit schools to correct any mistakes in their applications.
- March 20: A computerized draw will be conducted for admissions.

Meanwhile, for private schools in Delhi, the application process for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG), and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) has already closed. The computerized draw for these categories will take place on March 5, 2025.
A Fully Computerized and Transparent Admission Process
The DoE has ensured that the entire admission process is computerized, making it fair and free from bias. Any suspicious calls or fraudulent activities should be reported to the authorities immediately.
Once the computerized draw is completed, selected students will be allocated schools, and parents will receive SMS notifications about the school allotment.
The Directorate of Education has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and accessible admission process for all applicants.
