Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G, expanding its mid-range Galaxy A series. Announced ahead of MWC 2025, both smartphones bring AI-powered features, 50MP cameras, and long-term software support. The devices are now listed on Samsung India’s website, confirming pricing details. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A26 5G was also unveiled globally, though its Indian price remains undisclosed.

Samsung Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G: Price & Launch Offers

In India, the Galaxy A56 5G starts at ₹41,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are priced at ₹44,999 and ₹47,999, respectively.

The Galaxy A36 5G starts at ₹32,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models are priced at ₹35,999 and ₹38,999, respectively.

As a limited-time launch offer, Samsung is allowing buyers to purchase the 8GB + 256GB variants of both models at the price of the 8GB + 128GB versions.

Color options for the Galaxy A56 5G include Awesome Graphite, Awesome Light Grey, and Awesome Olive. The Galaxy A36 5G is available in Awesome Black, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White.

Both smartphones feature 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Victus+ Glass protection. They also introduce AI-powered tools like Auto Trim, Best Face, AI Select, and Read Aloud, enhancing the user experience.

Performance & Software

Under the hood, the Galaxy A56 5G runs on Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chipset, while the Galaxy A36 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Both support up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Samsung has committed to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, ensuring long-term software support. The phones ship with Android 15-based One UI 7.

Both models feature a 50MP triple rear camera setup. The Galaxy A56 5G pairs its 50MP primary sensor (with OIS) with a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro camera. The Galaxy A36 5G swaps the 12MP ultrawide for an 8MP sensor, while keeping the same macro and primary lenses.

For selfies and video calls, both phones sport a 12MP front camera.

A 5,000mAh battery powers both devices, supporting 45W wired fast charging. Other key features include IP67-rated dust and water resistance, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C.
